As a champion of the Moss Adams culture and values, the Regional HR Senior Manager drives the firm’s People Cornerstone strategies and shows passion for partnering with our leaders to grow our business. This position plans and delivers our people strategies and programs, leads, manages, and develops the regional HR team. The Regional HR Senior Manager is responsible for connecting firmwide strategy to regional strategy, developing the regional people strategy in concert with the Consulting Managing Partner (CMP) and Service Line Leaders (SLLs) ensuring alignment with firm strategy and objectives. The Regional HR Senior Manager brings innovative leadership, makes data-driven decisions, and serves as a trusted business advisor.Individuals who thrive at Moss Adams exhibit the following success skills – Collaboration, Critical Thinking, Emotional Intelligence, Executive Presence, Growth Mindset, Intellectual Curiosity, and Results Focus.Responsibilities:• Serve as a trusted business advisor, drive the People Cornerstone strategy and solutions in order to achieve strategic business initiatives and deliver results• Review and analyze metrics, trends, and industry knowledge to inform the design, planning and delivery of people strategies that align to business objectives for the region• Manage overall talent and headcount strategy for assigned client groups and across the region to maximize development, utilization, and profitability across the region• Oversee the delivery of regional people processes, HR transactions and associated work flows such as onboarding, exits, performance management, compensation and bonus administration, flexible work arrangements, workers’ compensation claims, immigration and efforts related to the employee experience• Work with regional leadership and people team to manage and resolve escalated policy and critical employee relations issues, including taking corrective action and conducting internal investigations for the region• Partner with National Office People Team on implementation of regional programs and initiatives, including employee engagement, total rewards, performance management, diversity and inclusion, workplace flexibility, wellness and other firmwide initiatives• Maintain strong working knowledge of federal and state employment laws to reduce risk and ensure compliance for the region• Team strategically with regional leadership, resource management and recruiting to surface and manage performance issues, identify and address trends in training needs across each level for the region, set headcount targets and manage headcount levels for the regional People Team• Responsible for identifying opportunities and work to improve processes, apply innovation, and serve as a leader or subject matter expert on firm-wide projects, programs, or processes• Serve as exceptional leader as mentor and/or Career Advisor and inspire leadership at all levelsQualifications:• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required; emphasis in Human Resources, Business or related field preferred• Minimum of 10 years of comprehensive HR management experience or related experience in a complex organization required; including demonstrated involvement with building and leading high-performing teams and fostering an inclusive culture; experience in public accounting or professional services environment preferred• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis upon hire. Moss Adams will not consider candidates for this position who require sponsorship for employment visa status now or in the future (e.g., H-1B status)• SPHR/PHR certification, SHRM certification and/or graduate level coursework in HR or business preferred• Experience with talent management, total rewards, employee relations, researching and applying federal and state employment laws, training and HR systems• Able to handle confidential material and sensitive situations in a reliable manner• Strong executive presence and demonstrated leadership skills; ability to develop relationships, build rapport, and effectively interface with all levels within the firm• Strong verbal and written communication skills including the ability to effectively present to large or small groups• Proven commitment to providing exceptional client service• Excellent organization and project management skills with ability to direct, manage, and review the work of others• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills• Ability to travel as needed, approximately 5%Moss Adams is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
