Our client, one of the world's largest technology companies, is seeking a Developer II. This is hybrid role local to Seattle, WA or Boston, MA.Contract Duration: 8-MonthsRequired Skills & Experience• Demonstrated analytical and quantitative skills and ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and develop business cases• Understanding of the full Software Development lifecycle• Experience developing products for customer facing end users• Experience developing full stack applications with React based front ends and Python based backend• Experience with deploying and writing Infrastructure as code with AWS CDK (preferred choice) or AWS cloud formation• 3+ Years of programming experience with Java/Python/Typescript.• 3+ years of experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems.• Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics etc.Desired Skills & Experience• Experience leading a software team as a tech lead• Experience using client Web Services• Experience developing for Linux• Experience coaching, and mentoring junior members on a software team• Experience building scalable front-end infrastructure software or distributed systems for commercial online services
