Job DescriptionOur client, a broker-dealer based out of Fort Worth, is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to ensure the stability of their data, voice, video and wireless network services. This position will primarily work with Cisco, Palo Alto and F5.This position will require on-site assistance to resolve user issues and availability on nights and weekends to perform major system updates. This job’s role is achieved by planning, designing and developing LAN and WAN infrastructure as well as cloud networking services. Additionally, will participate with the installation, monitoring, maintenance, support, and optimization of all network hardware, software, and communication links.This is a full-time role that can pay $110-115k offering a 15% stock option. The position is hybrid with 3 days on site, 2 days remote, also requiring on-call availability.Required Skills & Experience• University degree in computer science, electrical engineering or related field, and 5-7 years of equivalent work experience.• Advanced knowledge and experience with Cisco, Palo Alto and F5.• Certifications in Cisco, F5, Palo Alto, and Azure.• Experience with F5 GTM, F5 LTM, Palo Alto Firewalls and Azure Express Route.• Proven experience and success with LAN, WAN, WLAN, and WWAN design and implementation.• At least 1 year of experience in a cloud environment, preferably Azure, as cloud network engineer, administrator or DevOps role.Desired Skills & Experience• Knowledge of telephony systems, including Microsoft Team, Genesys, or other telephony platform.• Proven experience with network capacity planning, network security principles, and general network management best practices.What You Will Be DoingTech Breakdown• Design and deploy company LANs, WANs, Load Balancers, Firewalls, Wireless networks, routers, switches, and other hardware.• Design and deploy network infrastructure/services for IaaS, SaaS, PaaS and other cloud applications.• Installation and integration of network devices from multiple vendors. Other network elements as assigned in the Home Office network backbone and at designated disaster recovery sites.Daily Responsibilities• Oversee installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of end user workstation hardware, software, and peripheral devices.• Monitor and test network performance and provide network performance statistics and reports.• Troubleshoot and resolve service tickets assigned for Home Office network issues• Configure networks to ensure their smooth and reliable operation for fulfilling business objectives and processes.• Collaborate with BIS management and department leaders to assess near- and long-term network capacity needs.• Create and maintain documentation as it relates to network configuration, network mapping, processes, and service records.• Develop, implement and maintain policies, procedures, and associated training plans for network administration, usage, resiliency and disaster recovery.The Offer• 110-115k base salary depending on experience• 15% stock optionYou will receive the following benefits:• Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance• Vacation TimeApplicants must be currently authorized to work in the US on a full-time basis now and in the future.
