Underwriter

Our client, a financial services holding company, is looking to hire a Contract Analyst to join their team on a hybrid schedule in Baltimore, MD or Irving, TX.• **This is a 3 month contract with the potential for extension or conversion***What You’ll Do:• Selected individual will be responsible for reviewing submissions for select Borrower's Assistance program approvals and processing, such as deferments, loan modifications and reages (borrower assistance-loss mitigation transaction).• Underwrite loss mitigation transactions. Understand company policies and procedures.• Fast paced, attention to detail, adaptability• Position is hybrid, in office 2 days per week.Skills:• 3-5+ years in consumer loan underwriting• Previous credit review experience a plus• Ability to perform in a high volume work environment, must have good problem - solving skills, analytical skills, attention to detail.• Ability to have regular and predictable attendance• Ability to work flexible hours• Ability to prioritize work to meet set deadlines• Maintain positive customer relationships• Meet assigned performance plan objectives (i.e. goals)• Strong oral and written communication skills• Excellent PC skills including advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office• Bachelor's Degree Preferred• Experience in lending/financial institutions with borrower's assistance.
