Motorola Video analytics platforms allow our users to proactively monitor their premises using advanced video analytics and high resolution / high quality video.Job DescriptionWe are looking for a talented and versatile Senior Mobile App / REST API Engineer with a specific focus on the backend REST API development. As a member of a full-stack agile team, your skills must complement the team to define, implement, test and deliver features. To be successful in this role, you must value teamwork and collaborate effectively with a dynamic team to deliver customer value regularly.Responsibilities:• Develop backend infrastructure and services for our mobile applications• Architect efficient and reusable back-end systems in support of our mobile applications• Participate in user story creation and refinement for features impacting mobile applications• Define and Implement effective test strategies for all newly created software• Collaborate effectively across a diverse set of agile roles and stakeholders• Effectively communicate in various channels (email, slack, meet, phone, etc)• Provide timely feedback as requested in code reviewsQualifications:• Experience developing, testing, and shipping backend infrastructure and services for cloud and mobile applications• Programming expertise in: C# or Java• Knowledge and experience with development using .NET and Visual Studio• Knowledge in at least one of the following: Flutter (Preferred), Swift, Kotlin• Design and develop RESTful APIs used between browsers, mobile apps and the back-end server• Experience with modern, full-stack CI/CD toolchain on a public cloud provider• Working knowledge of Mac and Windows based development environments for iOS and android development.• DevOps knowledge of automated test and deployment for mobile applications.• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science• Working experience with deployment and maintenance of Postgres or similar SQL db• Quality first mind-set, self-driven and acts with an extreme sense of urgencyPreferred Qualifications:• Working experience with Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud development• Programming knowledge in at least one of the following: Javascript, Python, PowerShell• Working knowledge of Linux and Windows based development environments for Cloud and Server side development.• 5+ years of experience developing and delivering mobile apps.• Desire to take on leadership roles as opportunities present themselves.• Used tools and written scripts to manage continuous deployment and integration, monitor usage and troubleshootingThe base salary range for this position in California and Colorado is $105,000 - $135,000 depending on experience.#LI-CA1#LI-REMOTBasic Requirements• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or 4 years of software development experience• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required.
