Database Administrator - Onsite

The primary purpose of the Database Administrator is responsibility for the performance, integrity, and security of the company's information systems databases. The DBA provides technical expertise in the design, implementation, and maintenance of database management systems that support the business and applications. Additional responsibilities include verifying the back ups, reporting, data... input and output, technology management, and end-user training and support. Duties/Activities Required by Job • Assess malfunctions of hardware and/or software applications for the purpose of determining appropriate actions to maintain computer, network, and database operations • Assess malfunctions of hardware and/or software applications for the purpose of determining appropriate actions to maintain computer, network, and database operations • Build database schemas, tables, procedures and permissions. Analyze and sustains capacity and performance requirements • Perform maintenance operations daily, weekly and monthly on Oracle servers and databases and information systems for the purpose of ensuring efficient program operations, Perform database backups and restorations, and recovers corrupted databases • Implement and maintain database security and encryption • Develop, manage and test database and information system backup and recovery plans Educations/Experience Requirements • Four yr. degree with emphasis on Information Systems, Computer Science or Computer Engineering • 10+ yrs. experience in IT Data Bases 5+ years working Oracle DBA/database implementation, back up and account management • Experience with Oracle Database Enterprise version 11gR2, 12c, and 19c in a Unix/Linux environment, certified professional Oracle DBA, Knowledge of SQL Server 2012+ is a plus #LI-TB1 Mountaire Overview Mountaire Corporation and its two operating affiliates, Mountaire Farms Inc. and Mountaire Farms of Delaware, Inc.
