Assesses exposure to risk, ways to measure operational risk, establishes policies and procedures to minimize risk, identifies ways to protect the organization from loss of earnings and reputational damage. Work closely with the business managers and team members to provide solutions to address any gaps and improve operational efficiency. Provide a one-stop solution for all reporting and analytical needs of the department.Roles and Responsibilities:• The analyst will be focused on Pricing related initiatives.• The analyst will be required to gather data, develop the necessary scripts in SQL, develop and validate models and present results to Senior Management.• Essential functions include developing quantitative models and analyses to support various key projects related to Revenue management.Core Requirements:• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Economics, Finance or Engineering• 7+ years’ experience with analytic tools (i.e. SAS, SQL, MATLAB, Python, and Open Source tools such as R is a plus) data query tools to build, test, evaluate, and maintain robust data analysis and reporting for management to make timely, informed decisions.• Excellent knowledge of SQL programming and excel spreadsheet functions.• Strong problem solving & data mining skills.• Mortgage experience will be a plus.• Good verbal and written communication skills.• Planning and organizational skills necessary to coordinate workload around multiple assignments.• Strong analytical experienceMr. Cooper Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
