System Administrator (Data Validation)

We understand the need to provide a flexible working environment partnered with team collaboration and socialisation. Therefore, we operate a hybrid working model with 3 days of working from home per week. This role is based in the Cape Town Office.

Responsibilities

• Data analytics and validation
• Application administration, troubleshooting and support
• Application deployments via pipeline, automation tools and manual installations
• SQL Administration
• Installation and maintenance for SQL Servers, IIS , SMTP Relaying, backups
• Installation and management of IT security tools
Quality Assurance checking on SOP’s, server builds, application deployments and integrations
• Review of SOPs and documentation
• General vCentre management and troubleshooting
• Certificate Management
• Asset and Inventory Management
• Ability to work shifts and overtime if required
• Able to perform standby and overtime duties as and when required

Knowledge and Skills:

• Experience with Application Support and Data Validation
• Interest in general IT (Applications, Infrastructure, Security, SOP’s)
Attention to detail on data validation and compares, ability to follow SOPs and suggest improvements to documentation and processes
• Can do attitude and fearless to take on new tasks and initiatives
• Strong Team Player
• Ability to interact with clients and stakeholders at all levels of organisations
• Experience working with SaaS or managed service providers is a plus

Education:

• IT Certification related to data analytics is a plus
• SQL / Azure DBA certification a plus
• Azure Certified or working towards
• ITIL v3 or v4 nice to have
