We understand the need to provide a flexible working environment partnered with team collaboration and socialisation. Therefore, we operate a hybrid working model with 3 days of working from home per week. This role is based in the Cape Town Office. 

As a member of the Support Team, you will be responsible for managing the documentation-focused integration tasks such as locating and updating training materials (SOPs, guides, help documents, eLearnings), working with subject matter experts to document departmental procedures, and maintaining a central document repository. This individual will ensure training effectiveness across the organization using our skills and knowledge of training methodology to craft compelling content.

RESPONSIBILITIES:           

This position is responsible for gathering data and synthesizing information into process and product documentation for both internal and client use.

  • Work with stakeholders and subject matter experts in the support team to understand business processes and documentation needs

  • Collaborate with other team members to develop, design, and coordinate a comprehensive set of documentation for one business unit in the software industry

  • Learn complex concepts, and communicate the information in a way that is understood by users

  • Training and learning best practices

  • Write, format, edit, review, and proof procedural and technical information for technical and nontechnical users

  • Gather internal stakeholder feedback on documentation to improve usability

  • Act as an editor to ensure consistency in documentation

  • Create and maintain project plans to support the documentation project

  • All other duties as assigned.          

REQUIREMENTS:              

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Training and Development, Education, Communications, or a related field; or equivalent work experience in lieu of.

  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office suite, specifically PowerPoint and Word

  • Hands-on, in-depth experience in Residential, Commercial, or Financial software or property management preferred

  • Experience creating SOPs, job aids, training collateral or other related documentation

  • Experience creating training content/curriculums and assessments

  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills with an engaging demeanor commensurate with positive learning

  • Experience with rapid eLearning tools such as Camtasia, Articulate Storyline, and/or Captivate preferred.       

  • Strong writing, editing, formatting, organizational, planning, project management, communication, presentation, and influencing skills required. 

  • Able to manage multiple responsibilities and projects with competing priorities and deadlines.

  • Expert in multi-tasking; organization and prioritization skills are critical.
