As a Community Outreach Representative, you will act as the bridge between our organization and the communities we serve. You will be responsible for increasing awareness, building meaningful relationships, and engaging local communities through outreach initiatives, events, and partnerships. This role will require a passion for community engagement, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to fostering connections.Key Responsibilities:• Community Engagement: Develop and implement outreach strategies to increase community awareness of our programs and services• Relationship Building: Establish and maintain partnerships with community organizations, local businesses, and key stakeholders to strengthen the organization's presence• Event Participation & Coordination: Organize and represent the organization at community events, fairs, and meetings to promote initiatives and recruit community members• Public Relations: Serve as the face of the organization in the community, engaging with residents and responding to inquiries about programs and services• Program Support: Collaborate with internal teams to support community-based programs, ensuring they meet the needs and interests of the community• Data Collection & Reporting: Track outreach efforts, gather community feedback, and provide regular updates to leadership on engagement activities and outcomes• Advocacy & Education: Act as a community advocate, sharing information about important issues and educating the public on how to access available resources and servicesQualifications:• Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to connect with people from diverse backgrounds• Relationship Management: Ability to build and sustain positive relationships with community members, partners, and stakeholders• Event Coordination: Experience organizing and promoting community events is a plus• Cultural Competence: Sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse communities we serve• Self-Motivated: Ability to work independently and take initiative while managing multiple projects and deadlines• Organizational Skills: Strong attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment• Problem-Solving: Ability to identify community needs and propose solutions to address those needs effectivelyPreferred Experience:• Previous experience in community outreach, public relations, social work, or a related field is preferred• Knowledge of local community dynamics and resources is a plus• B.A./B.S. in Communications, Social Work, Public Relations, or a related field is desirable but not requiredWhy Join Us:• Impactful Work: Make a tangible difference in the community by helping individuals access valuable resources and services• Growth Potential: Enjoy opportunities for professional development and career advancement• Supportive Environment: Join a dynamic team that values collaboration, innovation, and community servicePowered by JazzHRFaaKlUQ03f
