We're looking for a Finance Manager to join the Finance Support Organization as part of MUFG Americas.
Responsibilities:
Core responsibility will be to support Managerial Allocation Function in preparing analysis, facilitating annual budget roundtables, and managing allocation rules/repository.
Financial Allocations Management
- Support Budget Roundtables annual process, responsible for Action Item tracking, and close out
- Assist with Lines of Business and Support Units requests for information and variance analysis
- Prepare slide decks for Executive leadership, monthly and ad hoc
- Conduct month end responsibilities to support Managerial Allocations month end validation and forecast production
- Lead efforts for monthly hierarchy checks for both the Managerial Allocations team
Technology Allocations / Service Catalog
- Partner with Finance and Business to establish/maintain robust allocation model
- Assist with transfer pricing methodologies
The right candidate will have:
- B.A. / B.S. degree in Accounting, Finance, Tax and/or related field is required with strong analytical and detail-oriented skills.
- 8+ years of business, cost accounting, financial accounting, reporting operations experience. Banking experience is preferred but not required.
- Possess strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization & work cross functionally.
- Proficient in the use of MS Office: Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of PCMCS a plus.
- Knowledge of Hyperion reporting tools is preferred.
- Excellent verbal, written, analytical and presentation skills are essential.
- Self-motivated and can work both independently and as an effective team member.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to coordinate prioritize and manage multiple activities.
- Ability to conduct complex financial analysis and understanding of month-end close.
- Basic understanding of Transfer Pricing.
The typical base pay range for this role is between $127K - $162K depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation.
