Key Responsibilities Include:
Contributes to and maintains business productivity metrics for Multivendor/HTM sourcing in the region, ensuring their accuracy, identifying new areas of opportunity to drive cost out, implement operating efficiency and improve productivity.
Implement Multivendor/HTM Sourcing strategy, processes or GEHC policies for their Category for region in line with GEHC Global Sourcing initiatives. Ensure regional fit and incorporate business CTQ’s.
Owns achieving savings targets for Category across Region, leading, and owning project execution in their home geographical location. Will support project execution & escalation for projects managed by Regional Sourcing Leaders within their Category across the Region.
Responsible for risk management in the supplier base ensuring all compliance and quality standards are met.
Liaise with Regional Sourcing Leaders to share best practices and leverage expertise across the Category.
Support the Service sourcing team in spend and supplier classification activities which will help drive business metrics affected by Multivendor/HTM sourcing. Identify new areas of opportunity to drive cost out, implement operating efficiency and improve productivity.
Collaborate with other sourcing category and program teams on initiatives to ensure alignment with global sourcing strategy and cross GEHC spend. Has the ability to think globally and work x-region.
Drive compliance with Preferred Suppliers across the region and work with stakeholders to reduce leakage
Aware of and comply with GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to their Category
Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required
Knowledge and understanding of GEHC Purchasing Controls Procedure and associated Work Instructions and operates within them to ensure that all purchased product and services conform to specified requirements.
Develop and maintaining of qualified and compliant supply base.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree from accredited university and a minimum 5 years of relevant sourcing experience; or High School Diploma and a minimum of 10 years of relevant sourcing experience
Proficient in Microsoft Excel
Ability to drive activities with virtual teams
Willing to travel domestically and internationally up to 25% of time
Tenacious, strong negotiator (that includes suppliers and contracts), good communicator at all levels and across different cultures
Proven ability to execute and deliver on commitments and targets
Track record of delivering on multiple projects and/or initiatives including cross border, cross SBU, cost savings, etc.
Experience with data analysis tools to identify cost savings opportunities
Great stakeholder management - able to understand internal customers’ needs and CTQ's (critical to quality) and deliver
Ability to thrive in a matrix environment and works well under pressure against multiple deadlines and CTQ's
