SUMMARY
Provides backfill support for modeling. Facilitates Senior Modelers having more bandwidth to address questions and coordination of CIM 16 Upgrade Project.

As a Power Systems Modeling Engineer at MWResource, you'll be diving into the exciting world of energy systems and modeling. Based in Taylor, TX, you'll enjoy the flexibility of a hybrid work environment while supporting our talented senior modelers. Your role will focus on developing and maintaining operational models using the Network Model Management System (NMMS) and collaborating with various teams. One day, you might be building steady state and geomagnetic disturbance models with the Steady State Working Group, and the next, you'll be using tools like PSS/E and ASPEN to develop short circuit models and support data exchange processes. Your knack for validating data and creating innovative tools in Java and Python will make a real difference in our transmission system modeling efforts! We value mentorship and training and you’ll have an opportunity to guide members of our Engineering Development Program while contributing to essential protocols and standards.
