Senior Research Associate, Care Delivery Operations

In this exciting role as a Senior Research Associate, you will be at the heart of driving improvements in geriatrics and aging-in-place care by identifying and implementing best practices to enhance our myPlace Health Care Delivery Model. Your work will bring innovative ideas to life through implementation science and evidence-based quality improvement approaches. You'll see the tangible results of your efforts as you apply research-based methods and publish white papers to share your findings with the broader PACE community.


Reporting to the VP of Care Delivery Operations, you’ll collaborate across a range of internal and external teams, building strong partnerships with Subject Matter Experts and key stakeholders in care model innovations. You will work hand-in-hand with the Director of Care Model Strategy to co-develop and implement transformative strategies that benefit our participants and beyond.


This role offers a unique opportunity to make an impact that reaches far beyond myPlace Health, shaping care delivery not just for our participants, but across the broader PACE community.


What will success look like in this role?
  • Research & Analysis: Lead exciting research efforts on best practices from PACE and other healthcare organizations. You’ll explore key learnings and transform them into actionable recommendations that enhance our care strategies.
  • Strategy Design: Collaborate closely with the Director of Care Model Strategy to design and implement innovative care initiatives that not only meet but exceed success metrics, making a real difference in the lives of our participants.
  • Project Management: Take ownership in planning and managing care model innovations, ensuring smooth execution by partnering with internal teams and external collaborators to turn great ideas into meaningful action.
  • Data-Driven Innovation: Capture and analyze data to uncover valuable insights that inform and guide our care model improvements, driving even better results for our participants.
  • Thought Leadership: Develop and publish impactful white papers in collaboration with West Health Institute, sharing breakthrough findings that can help shape the future of healthcare.
  • Continuous Improvement: Lead cross-functional initiatives with a mindset of constant improvement. You’ll launch PDSA (Plan-Do-Study-Act) cycles, refining processes until success is reached and bringing quality to every aspect of the work.
  • Collaboration: Be a key connector, serving as a liaison between myPlace Health and West Health Institute on strategic research initiatives. Together, you’ll foster collaboration and spark innovation to advance our shared goals.
  • Contribute to Organizational Growth: Embrace additional opportunities and responsibilities as needed, actively participating in the continued growth and success of the organization.

  • Clear Communicator: Your written communication skills are top-notch. You can take complex topics and explain them in a clear, simple, and logical way that anyone can understand.
  • Research Expertise: You bring experience in clinical research, outcomes research, or continuous quality improvement, with a focus on integrated care models and/or geriatrics. You know how to turn insights into actionable improvements.
  • Quality Improvement Skills: You are familiar with and have successfully used quality improvement methodologies to drive better outcomes.
  • PACE Experience: Ideally, you have worked in a PACE model or a similar capitated, value-based, integrated care environment, and understand the unique challenges and opportunities in these settings.
  • Leadership in Action: You’ve led cross-functional initiatives to implement and scale best practices, and you bring a mindset of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Project Management Pro: You’re comfortable juggling multiple initiatives at once, using your project management skills to stay organized and ensure smooth execution from start to finish.


$85,000 - $107,200 a year

myPlace Health offers a robust compensation package for this role that includes cash compensation and other total rewards. Base pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, relevant work and industry experience, certifications, and location of the role. Onsite roles include appropriate geographic adjustments, while remote roles are typically priced off national pay data.
