The Role
We are thrilled to be hiring our first ever Sales Development Rep!
If you’ve recently graduated or just started your career, and you’d like to get sales and sales ops training across the board, this is the one for you! You’ll support the sales team and efforts across the board, from directly managing some inbound leads (stretch goal: closing small deals solo!), learning the ins and outs of sales ops and helping keep our CRM in top shape, as well as supporting high priority sales activities, like event prep and follow up.
First timer sales roles usually mean 40 hours a week of cold calls, managed by someone 2 years ahead of you in their career. Not this one! You’ll report directly to our seasoned VP Sales, and work on strategic and tactical priorities across the department.
Responsibilities:
Working directly with the VP Sales to support a wide range of strategic and tactical tasks each week, including but not limited to:
Screening and triaging inbound leads, making first contact with a segment of them
CRM data enriching and improvement
Events research & outreach
Account mapping and research to help prioritize top targets
Converting small deals
Qualifications:
We’re hiring for mindset here, we’ll teach you the rest! Specifically, we’re looking for:
Recently completed postsecondary studies OR 1+ years in a starter SDR role
A passion for healthtech, and how technology can improve healthcare for clinicians and patients
Innate curiosity for how sales, process, and startups work - and the matching drive to contribute to these things
Drawn to sales as a craft and as a machine, and an interest in learning about and contributing to all aspects of what makes a sales team function well
Self-starter with a strong sense of initiative and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
Organized, punctual, detail-oriented
