Nashville General Hospital is on the lookout for a caring and proactive Nurse Manager (RN) for our Forensics and ICU department, located on the 7th Floor. This full-time day position is a fantastic opportunity for someone eager to lead a dedicated team and maintain high clinical standards within a bustling emergency department. As a Nurse Manager (RN), your daily responsibilities will be centered around ensuring that patient care is continuously evaluated and improved. You'll engage directly with patients and their families, proactively monitoring care quality and compliance with established standards. Your role will also involve managing staff schedules and maintaining an adequate workforce to keep operations running smoothly, which means your leadership and communication skills will come in handy! On top of that, you will conduct daily rounds to promote staff well-being and address any issues that arise. Conflict resolution is another key aspect of the job, so using your leadership abilities to develop effective action plans will be essential. Additionally, you will promote staff engagement in quality improvement initiatives, truly making a difference in our community.
