So, join us as a Senior Program Manager, and find your superpower.National Grid is hiring a Senior Program Manager for our US Content and Digital Team in Brooklyn, NY.Job PurposeServe in a critical role on the US Content and Digital Team within Group Corporate Communications and Brand (GCC&B), planning and producing content aligned to the strategic priorities set for our team by the Director of GCC&B and the Chief Corporate Affairs Officer. Contribute as an essential team member on the US Content and Digital Team to create a transformative content strategy that drives team performance through effective multi-platform communications.Key Accountabilities• The Senior Program Manager will contribute as a valuable team member with multiple responsibilities including creating, developing, and distributing content on Group channels. Serve as proxy for the Director, as needed.• Work cross-functionally with stakeholders across National Grid to implement Group Corporate Affairs’ communication strategies with a US business focus.• Use analytics and data to inform decisions and advise what is performing well and where the opportunities lie for improving performance. Utilize Brandwatch to assist UK colleagues with social media analytics and posting. Contribute to UX/UI testing as needed and directed by the Group Digital Team.• Manage outside consultants, designers, photo & video editors, writers, and technical resources, as needed, for external campaigns.• Contribute to social media posts by providing proposed copy with a specific US focus. Work with Group social media team to write copy, manage visual assets, stay on track of agency deliverables, and serve as the US representative for Group social activity and campaigns.Requirements• Bachelor's degree in a related field required.• 2 to 5 years of communications experience and management in a complex organization, or an agency serving a variety of large corporate clients. Proven success working closely with strategic communicators and internal colleagues to develop effective and innovative communications solutions.• Strong communications skills with emphasis on empowering colleagues and inspiring change.• Demonstrated understanding of UX/UI/IA development, as well as familiarity with a wide variety of digital publishing platforms and tools (e.g., Crownpeak, Drupal/ Acquia, etc.).• Experience using Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, Apple OS, and basic HTML as needed and familiarity with the energy or utility space supporting engagement and content development.More InformationSalary$101k - $119k a yearThis position has a career path which provides for advancement opportunities within and across bands as you develop and evolve in the position; gaining experience, expertise and acquiring and applying technical skills.
