Shipping & Receiving Associate - Parts

National Indoor RV Centers is looking for a Shipping & Receiving Associate.  We are a premier full-service RV company that values lasting relationships with our employees, customers, and the community.

As a Shipping & Receiving Associate, you will:

  • Accurately receive/confirm parts orders, inspect orders for damage, handles stocking and returns of parts.
  • Load/unload freight shipments.
  • Locate, retrieve (pull) and bill stocked parts from inventory for both dealership and body shop.
  • Manage Inventory including conducting Physical Inventory & Cycle counts.
  • Receive/confirm parts orders, inspect orders for damage, handle shelving and return of Warranty parts through established and new vendors and manufacturers.
  • Assist your internal “customers”, the Service Advisors and RV Techs (mechanics) as well as walk-in customers.
  • Promote company expectations by maintaining best practices for the industry, promoting teamwork and individual success in a fast-paced environment.
  • Transfer parts between dealership and body shop as needed; will need to be able to drive company vehicle.
  • Maintain other duties as assigned or requested.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent work experience
  • Has a general working knowledge of parts required for RV repair and an understanding of subparts that may be required for installation
  • 1-2 years RV Parts experience preferred but not a requirement, inventory experience, customer service, etc.
  • Must use computer system, phone, office equipment
  • Ability to work well with others – we want to keep our place a friendly and cooperative workplace
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • The ability to operate a forklift is highly preferred
  • Dependable and trustworthy
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proactive and open-minded attitude with ability to resolve problems and deliver results
  • Excellent multi-tasking and time-management skills, with ability to prioritize tasks
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work well with others – we want to keep our place a friendly and cooperative workplace
  • Positive and Can-Do attitude
  • Drug free - must pass a drug test
  • Legally able to work in the USA – we are an E-Verify employer

Working Conditions:

  • May require extended periods of computer exposure.
  • Warehouse conditions similar to outdoor temperatures.
  • Must be able to repeatedly lift 50-100lbs daily
