Overview:
As our Healthcare Activities Coordinator, you'll have the exciting opportunity to directly enhance the quality of life for our residents. This role is perfect for someone who loves interacting with people, has a creative spirit, and is dedicated to making each day special for our residents.


• Plan and implement a diverse range of engaging activities tailored to residents' interests and abilities
• Lead daily group activities, encouraging participation and fostering a sense of community
• Provide one-on-one interactions with residents, ensuring personalized attention and support
• Develop and maintain a monthly activities calendar, balancing variety and routine
• Coordinate special events and celebrations, creating memorable experiences for residents
• Encourage community involvement in activities and events
• Assess residents' interests and abilities to create targeted programming
• Maintain accurate records of resident participation and engagement
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure activities align with residents' care plans
• Create a welcoming, positive atmosphere that promotes social interaction and mental stimulation

• High school diploma or equivalent is required
• Previous experience in activities coordination, preferably in a healthcare or senior living setting
• Strong interpersonal skills with a warm, approachable demeanor
• Creativity and enthusiasm in developing and leading activities
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to adapt activities to various physical and cognitive abilities
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Proficient computer skills and activity planning software
