POSTION PROFILE:
  • Monitor quality and service performance of showrooms and independent representatives; recommend changes in sales philosophy and policy that serve in the best interest of the category.
  • Maintain close and frequent communications with showroom managers, partner showroom owners, and territory sales associates, partnering to achieve success.
  • Be the Face of the company; travel to showrooms within our North American territories providing product and sales training for territory sales associates.
  • Develop and maintain important relationships with showroom owners, management, and clients.
  • Introduce new and existing products into the marketplace to expand customer satisfaction.
  • During territory visits call on customers in their design offices along with the territory’s sales representative to promote sales
  • Collaborate with managers to host in-showroom client events, showcasing products and produced media presentations to further client’s knowledge.
  • Establish and maintain close personal contact with top echelon customers.
  • Conduct all business transactions in a manner that upholds the high ethical standards of the corporation.
  • Represent the company in industry associations and other organized training programs in our markets; be knowledgeable of the industry marketplace and notify company of competitor’s products.
  • Develop and implement product training for Sales Representatives for all company products, their proper use, features and functions.
ROAD TRAVEL: Up to two weeks per month.
REQUIRED SKILLS
  • Ability to travel up to two weeks per month
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Effective presentation skills are essential to share information with top management, public groups, and clients
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor’s degree required, degree in business, marketing or related area a plus
  • 3+ years of experience in a national sales role or equivalent experience

A starting compensation range for this role is $109,400.00 - $138,500.00. Relevant salary considerations will include candidate qualifications and experience, other business/organizational needs and market factors . You may also be eligible to receive a geographic premium, annual discretionary incentive and equity awards which are subject to the rules governing these programs. The company offers a full spectrum of benefits including Medical, Prescription Drug, Dental, Vision, Health Savings Account, Dependent Day Care Savings Account, Life Insurance, Disability and Other Insurance Plans, Paid Time Off (including Vacation and Parental Leave), Holidays, 401(k), and Short/Long Term Disability, in addition to other special perks reserved for our associates.
