We are looking for an Operations Specialist to join our fast-growing FinTech!

The role 

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the successful candidate will play a vital role in delivering exceptional client experiences at Navro. Key responsibilities span a number of operational activities,  all of which aim to ensure the accuracy of payment information, compliance with regulations and the smooth and correct execution of transaction monitoring processes for our clients.. 

Work shift: As part of a team of specialists currently working Monday-Friday, this will involve some shift rotation. Further details will be provided during the interview process..


Location: This is a permanent position based in Ireland. We are a remote-first company, however, we do have an office in Dublin City Centre, that is available for all employees to use. We would also like for our employees to spend at least 2 days a month in the office for team collaboration days.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the validation of client payroll and other payment requirements to ensure that sufficient information is provided by the client to enable setup and configuration to be completed successfully
  • Ability to reconcile file data to ensure accuracy of information and  research discrepancies in payment information files  and/or documentation to ensure accuracy and adherence to procedures before processing
  • Assist with KYC due diligence reviews (ID verification, document review, open source searches, etc.)
  • Screen and monitor customer activities for onboarding, ongoing transactions, periodic reviews and trigger events using transaction monitoring tools  
  • Act as first point of contact for clients for all payment and onboarding related queries by email and phone 
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of all client support processes and policies, adhering to frequent changes 
  • Contribute to continuous process improvement and share knowledge
  • Happy to take on additional responsibilities and other ad-hoc tasks as needed 

To be successful in this role, you have: 

  •  3+ years of experience in Payments and/or AML/transaction monitoring, preferably in a regulated fintech environment 
  • Solid G-suite/ spreadsheet skills and data entry proficiency 
  • Ability and willingness to troubleshoot issues and suggest solutions 
  • Flexibility and the ability to work on own initiative or as part of a cross functional team 
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and under time pressure
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, especially working on repetitive tasks 
  • Team player with ability to share information and interact positively with others in  high pressure situations
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity in a fast-paced, startup environment
  • Enthusiasm, eagerness and an outgoing nature with a willingness to learn and develop
  • Fluency in English, written and spoken, is required
