Summer 2025 Recruitment Timeline:

NBCUniversal's Corporate groups are uniquely positioned at the core of our organization. Employees within these groups use their area of expertise to support all businesses across the company, keeping the heart of each brand at the forefront. Corporate Communications: Working with teams across the NBCU enterprise, Corporate Communications sits in a unique epicenter, touching each business to help share their messages internally to our employees and externally to our corporate stakeholders. This intern will have the opportunity to help amplify the work going on across the company by telling stories that celebrate the full breadth and scope of NBCUniversal and our impact. Supporting platforms such as NBCUniversal.com, NBCU Social Media accounts, employee newsletters, and company-wide emails, this intern will touch on responsibilities such as creating content for internal digital screens, assisting with research of industry trends, building face sheets and key talking point documents, and providing event support.
Corporate Communications – Creative Group: The Corporate Communications Creative Group produces various creative work for events, digital, video, consumer-facing, and internal communications. This group is looking for an individual who is curious and excited about all things design including: brand identities, design systems, environmental design, video, typography, motion graphics. and illustration. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with an attention to detail, has a collaborative spirit with an ability to meet deadlines, and is comfortable learning new design tools to keep pace with the ever-evolving design field. Rockefeller Center Operations, Guest Experience (Marketing, Promotions & Merchandising): As an Intern on the Guest Experience Team, the intern would be exposed to various spaces like Marketing, Promotions, Product Development, Photography, social media, Graphics, and Presentations. The intern would be an active part of all projects happening during their time with us. Through your internship, you will have 1-2 primary projects that you will have ownership over and present to the team before the end of the summer.
Basic Requirements:
Must be actively enrolled in a degree-granting program at an accredited institution during the entire duration of the program (June 2025 through August 2025). May 2025 graduates are not eligible for our Summer 2025 Internship Program.
Current class standing of sophomore or above (30 credits).
Must be presently authorized to work for any employer in the United States and must not require work visa sponsorship from NBCUniversal now or in the future to retain authorization to work in the United States.
Must be willing to work in New York, NY.
For further clarification, candidates currently on any student or exchange visa (e.g. F-1 CPT, F-1 OPT, J-1, M-1) are not eligible to apply unless they will be able to change or adjust to another status that grants work authorization without NBCUniversal sponsorship.
NBCUniversal is an E-Verify company, requiring all employees to have an active Social Security number. Any candidate receiving an internship offer must complete I-9 form with Social Security number within 3 days of hire.
Desired Characteristics:
Students with class standing of junior or above preferred.
Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.
For Corp Comms, Creative Group: pursuing a bachelor’s degree in graphic design or similar; proficient with Adobe CC software such as Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and After Effects; experience in designing print, digital and animated assets; knowledge of fonts and typography; ability to create graphic layouts, logos, illustrations and keyart.
For Rockefeller Center Operations, Guest Experience: knowledge of graphic design/Adobe, prior experience with merchandising, interest in marketing/product development, social media experience, and photography/editing experience.
The hourly rate for student interns is $17.50.
