Job Description

The Global Streaming Platform organization is looking for a Product Manager, to join the Ad Innovation and Experience team. 

This role will serve in a supporting capacity to steer Peacock's ad product, monetization and growth strategy, balancing the requirements of advertisers, users, and the business as we scale initiatives internationally. The candidate will team up with stakeholders throughout the organization to develop advertising features and monetize the platform in alignment with our global business objectives. They'll champion ad experimentation to optimize user experience in close collaboration with sales, decision sciences, technology and design teams. The role will report to the VP Product, Ad Innovation and Experience, and will be part of a fast-paced and ambitious team shaping the future of AVOD on a global scale. 

Essential Functions (Responsibilities):

  • Support product strategy, roadmap and KPIs across connected TV, mobile and web applications 
  • Collaborate with stakeholders including sales and technology to collect, document, and prioritize product requirements for new ad products or enhancements to existing ones, ensuring their suitability for engineering and design teams.
  • Analyze qualitative and quantitative data to inform feature prioritization, definition and longer-term product strategies 
  • Lead feature development through the full software lifecycle, including discovery, ideation, requirements, design, build, release, testing, evaluation and iteration 
  • Communicate effectively by creating and delivering winning executive presentations that explain product vision, features and roadmaps and manage stakeholder expectations using verbal and written communication skills
  • Deeply understand business considerations, competitive landscape, and best practices to drive optimal ad experiences
  • Continuously learn and stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and relevant technologies in the advertising space to grow your skills and contribute effectively to your team.

Qualifications

About You:

  • Self-starter with high level of curiosity, creativity, and passion for understanding our users and addressing the requirements of both users and advertisers.
  • Capable of overseeing multiple concurrent projects, dealing with ambiguity, and adapting to changing priorities and swiftly approaching deadlines.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal formats, with adeptness in creating compelling presentations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Preferable experience leading end-to-end product development processes, from concept through retrospective, for both consumer-facing and back-end features 
  • Basic understanding of digital technologies and differences between platforms; Technical fluency to know when to challenge developers and ask pertinent questions 
  • Collaborative spirit and a willingness to share product responsibilities with stakeholder teams  

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in product management or a related role, preferably within the digital advertising industry.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies such as Agile or Scrum.
  • Software literacy and comfort with various product tools such as Jira, Wiki, Airtable, Microsoft Office, Adobe Analytics and Tableau.

Salary range: $130,000 - $165,000 (bonus and long-term incentive eligible).

***This role follows a hybrid work model: Employees may work remotely on Mondays and Fridays, but are expected to be onsite every Tuesday through Thursday.***
