Software Sales Consultant (eCommerce Sales Consultant)
LOCATION: Virtual / Remote - can be located anywhere in mainland US
POSTION SUMMARY & KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

We’re seeking an individual with experience supporting and growing sales efforts in the Retail industry. The primary objective of this position is to develop and drive e-commerce business. As a member of the Retail team, your ability to participate in defining and executing the strategy to grow e-commerce business will be important for the team’s success. If you have demonstrated experience in developing and driving e-commerce initiatives and creating customer solutions that bring value, while delivering exceptional customer service, we want to talk to you.
Key Areas of Responsibility include:
Consultative solution selling with both existing customers and prospects in the RFP, discovery, demonstration, and follow-up phases of the sales cycle.
Articulating NCR product capabilities to C-level customer audience as well as managers and end users
Developing relationships with key decision makers to drive a successful sale outcome.
Understanding a customers’ specific business requirements and applying the relevant NCR product knowledge and solution offerings to meet those needs.
Maintaining awareness of Retail Industry trends with an emphasis around e-commerce
Working with Product Management for continuous product improvement
Identifying business challenges that NCR Freshop can solve for the retailer.
Apply Value-Based selling techniques while leveraging ROI data points to support the customer’s decision-making process.
Understand the eCommerce competitive landscape and be able to effectively position NCR solutions against them.
Attend retail, technology, and grocery events to grow pipeline, generate business interest, and develop/nurture customer contacts.
Identify and qualify sales opportunities for eCommerce solutions to drive pipeline and contribute to overall sales success.
Demonstrated capability to manage and lead people.
Basic Qualifications
5 years + of related business and selling experience along with a proven track record of success in technology and specifically eCommerce sales
Background in SaaS and Application Software with an emphasis in e-Commerce
Knowledge of both retail and e-Commerce industry trends such as big data, mobility, and omni-channel shopping
Proven track record in solution selling
Strong industry experience in eCommerce
Expert level presentation, demonstration, and communication skill
Solution-oriented; Experience in identifying solutions that address customer challenges
Ability to work independently to cultivate relationships and generate leads
Location: Remote from any location in the US
Willingness to travel up to 50% and on occasion travel outside the United States
Proficient in Microsoft: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, TEAMs, Salesforce, and SharePoint
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or higher degree preferred.
Experience in grocery and convenience industry

Salary Range:
$172,700.00 - $267,300.00
