We're looking for a Senior Program Manager with a strong background in GCP development builds. This role involves overseeing multiple programs and establishing strategy for planning, budgeting, and resourcing. Our ideal candidate is proactive, creative, swift and a strong leader. We want the people on this program to have confidence in this leader's pathway forward, even when the end isn't yet in sight. Key would be the emotional intelligence to taking client needs and translating that into how Nerdery can support their objectives. Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in Program/Project Management required
  • 4+ years experience working in consulting/agency/client based environments
  • 2+ years working on a GCP based project
  • Experience leading Agile and SCRUM environments
  • Previous leadership and managerial experience
  • Strong understanding of digital technologies and user experience methodologies
  • Strong oral, written, problem-solving, and presentation communication skills
  • Background of operational and financial rigor and excellence
  • Experience and familiarity working with mid level client stakeholders (Director and above)
  • Experience managing a program/portfolio of multiple parallel projects with diverse stakeholders
  • Familiarity and comfort with multiple Project Management methodologies

What Things Will You Do As A Nerd?

  • Oversee and drive the day-to-day scope and quality of client projects and deliverables directly or through a team of Program Manager and/or Project Managers
  • Assist technology advisors and architects to ensure accurate estimates can be integrated into a actionable delivery plan for GCP projects
  • Estimate & define delivery approach for large programs encompassing all Nerdery disciplines including resource planning and forecasting of hiring needs
  • Manage and maintain internal processes around Nerdery management systems (OpenAir, JIRA, Confluence, etc.) and resource management.
  • Support PMO Director to serve as an escalation point for programs that fall outside their portfolio/program
  • Partner with Growth to estimate, scope, and sell work 
  • Audits other programs to provide recommendations & identify areas for improvement
  • Coach, mentor, and guide direct reports
  • Manage Delivery Financials (Service time, underburn and Delivered as Margin) 
  • Ensure seamless handoffs among the project teams, Nerdery and Client
  • Active understanding of Nerdery capabilities across practices to drive forward overall workflow

  • Lead the team on emerging trends and/ or technologies
  • Relationship building, both team and client
  • Active problem solving
