Requirements and responsibilities
Ensure the team understands and adheres to Scrum values, principles, and practices.
Guide the team in self-organization and cross-functional collaboration.
Remove impediments and blockers that hinder team progress.
Track and communicate team progress to stakeholders.
Coach team members in Agile principles, Scrum practices, and self-management.
Mentor individual team members to enhance their skills and capabilities.
Facilitate conflict resolution and promote a healthy team dynamic.
Encourage continuous learning and improvement within the team.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance team efficiency and effectiveness.
Facilitate retrospectives to gather feedback and drive actionable changes.
Collaborate with other Scrum Masters and Agile Coaches to share knowledge and best practices.
Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging Agile methodologies.
Build strong relationships with product owners, stakeholders, and other teams.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders to manage expectations and ensure alignment.
Facilitate communication and collaboration between the team and stakeholders.
Report on team progress, metrics, and impediments to relevant stakeholders.
3-5 years of experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar Agile role.
Proven track record of successfully leading and delivering Agile projects.
Experience working in a software development environment is a plus.
Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) certification is preferred.
Deep understanding of Agile values, principles, and Scrum practices.
Strong facilitation, coaching, and mentoring skills.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills.
Ability to build trust and foster collaboration within a team.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of private markets or financial industry terminology and processes.
Experience with Agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello).
Overall experience in software products / platforms.
3+ years’ Experience as Scrum master delivering data projects / programs
Experience working with distributed teams
Knowledge of Cloud data platforms (Preferably Hadoop, Azure, Snowflake)
Experience of dealing with delivery managers, architects & AVPs
Nice to have - Retail experience
