Help us write the next chapter of Purina’s history.Position Summary:As the Factory Quality Manager for our Williamsburg Township site, you will champion compliance with all food safety and quality policies, procedures and standards established by the company and various federal, state and local regulatory agencies. You will drive the quality assurance (QA) strategy throughout the factory and proactively identify opportunities to continuously improve and generate exceptional results. In this critical leadership role, you will engage, empower and supervise the Quality department and ensure all manufacturing quality standards are met or exceeded.Primary Responsibilites:• Manage strategic planning and daily operation of the factory Quality department.• Coach, develop and mentor the Quality team.• Ensure adherence to and improvement of Quality and Food Safety Programs, HACCP Programs, Good Manufacturing Practices, Cleaning and Sanitation, Pest Management Programs and others.• Lead the internal and external factory audit programs to verify adherence to certification standards, regulatory requirements, product and process specifications.• Review, maintain and enhance factory quality resources to support personnel training and competency development, food safety, and quality management systems.• Manage adherence to ISO requirements and continually monitor external standards to inform internal strategy.• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and consistent application of quality standards.• Drive the Quality pillar in support of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) for the factory.• Support, maintain, and continuously improve the Quality Management System and all related programs .Requirements:• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Microbiology or related scientific discipline• 5+ years of Quality Assurance experience in manufacturing, production, military or related environment• 2+ years of leadership experience in a manufacturing, production, military or related environmentPreferred :• Food manufacturing experience strongly preferredDon’t meet all the qualifications listed under “other”? Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting.
