Being a strong communicator, you will partner with our stakeholders and help them develop requirements for their projects. Working in tandem with the Data Science and Strategy (DSS) project manager and senior members of the team you will develop the necessary workflow and timelines. It will then be up to you to author all SQL objects, solution documentation and teach others how to use them.Job Requirements• Assist developers in writing SQL queries that interact with a BigQuery database, ensuring these queries execute efficiently utilizing minimal resources• Maintain our BigQuery instance to ensure custom views, tables are kept up to date and are running properly per design specifications• Collaborate with senior members of the team to understand their workflow and best practices• Work with stakeholders and the DSS program manager to develop requirements for data products within NetApp Marketing• Communicate project status, challenges and insights to stakeholders so they can understand impacts to timelines, data needs for the creation of dashboards or reports• Create visual representations of information systems to clarify business needs and data requirementsQualifications• Strong communicator with the ability to solicit, interpret and design marketing data requirements to support business needs• 3+ years of experience with writing SQL, preferably within the BigQuery environment• Proven track record of strong customer service and communication with the ability to do so via either written or verbal communication mediums• Ability to communicate at all levels and drive strategic business value based on stakeholder requirements• Attention to detail to ensure accurate SQL outputs (data integrity) in the form of views, tables or sharable code for PowerBI dashboard generation• Experience working with marketing datasets including attribution modeling, lead scoring, web analytics. Knowledge of BQML is a strong plus.CompensationThe base salary range for this position is $115,700 - $141,400 and will be determined by the candidate's location, qualifications, experience, and education. Final compensation packages are competitive and in line with industry standards, reflecting a variety of factors, and include a comprehensive benefits package. This may cover Health Insurance, Life Insurance, Retirement or Pension Plans, Paid Time Off (PTO), various Leave options, Performance-Based Incentives, employee stock purchase plan, and/or restricted stocks (RSU’s), with all offerings subject to regional variations and governed by local laws, regulations, and company policies.
