Network Security Engineer

We’re looking for a Network Security Engineer to join us in our Denver office!

What will you be doing?

Your key focus will be to protect and secure Liberty Global’s networks, our employees, and technical assets from modern threat vectors. Working alongside the local IT Operations Team and other network and systems engineers from across the globe, you will ensure Liberty Global maintains an aggressive cyber security posture.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Provide Network Threat Intelligence and Incident Response
Deploy and Operate Next-Gen Firewalls
Deploy and Operate Modern Intrusion Detection and Prevention Systems
Monitor Networks for Cyber Security Vulnerabilities
Maintain Switch/Router ACLs and Configuration Backup
Provide Network Access Control
Provide Secure Remote Access Solutions (VPN, Web Services)
Secure all Email and Telecommunication services.
Inspect Logging and Alerting with SIEMs

PREFERRED EDUCATION/ QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree, non-traditional education, or equivalent career experience.
Check Point qualifications or certifications equivalent to Check Point Certified Security Master Elite

Knowledge & Experience:

Working experience with Check Point networking in a production environment
Past experience with Threat Intelligence and Incident Response
Background in a Network Operations Center, Production Service Provider Network, or Data Center Experience

We offer a competitive salary, bonus & benefits

The base salary range is $80,000 - $110,000 gross per annum, based on the level of experience
