Summary:
· The main function of a systems administrator is to install, configure, and support an organization’s local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN) and Internet system or a segment of a network system. A typical systems administrator is responsible for monitoring network to ensure network availability to all system users and perform necessary maintenance to support network availability.
Job Responsibilities:
· Maintain and administer computer networks and related computing environments including computer hardware, systems software, applications software, and all configurations.
· Perform data backups and disaster recovery operations.
· Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, or other network and system problems, and replace defective components when necessary.
· Configure, monitor and maintain email applications or virus protection software.

Summary:
· The main function of an IT Factory Analyst is to install, configure, and support IT systems including but not limited to factory applications, computers and various hardware and accessories attached to the network. A typical IT Factory Analyst is responsible for monitoring support ticket system to ensure factory infrastructure, application and components are availability to all system users and perform necessary maintenance to support that availability. Job Responsibilities: Maintain and administer factory specialized computers and related computing environments including computer hardware, systems software, applications software, and all configurations. This includes gaining an understanding of factory processes around those factory applications and IT hardware. The analyst will need to have general IT understanding on diagnosing, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, or other network and system problems, and replace defective components when necessary. The IT Factory Analyst will have additional roles developing and supporting factory applications utilizing development skills in development process and coding as a developer.
· Working onsite at Brooklyn Park, MN facility
· Provide technical leadership as part of a team of two for Factory IT Analyst supporting the Factory Floor and Office with focus on Factory Applications. Support the Brooklyn Park Factory floor through hands on troubleshooting, hands on updates and new installation of facility Applications and Computer Hardware. Provide advanced development and support of existing and new factory applications for Brooklyn Park and other facilities under the GCIO CI arm. Including, working with other Factory analyst across multiple sites providing Application development and development support.
Typical task breakdown:
· Work Tickets and Request threw Ticket Systems
· Meet with Customers in Person and via Video Conference Calls
· Move and Climb ladders to change Network Ports
Interaction with team:
· 2-person onsite team and multiple peers at other sites
Work environment:
· Primary Office Setting with Factory Floor Work
Education & Experience Required:
· Associate degree in computer related field required. Bachelor's degree in computer science preferred
· 3 to 5 years’ experience of working with PC and server admin along with application support and or IT application Development.
· 5 to 7 years' progressive IT related experience overall
Technical Skills
(Required)
· Ability to identify, interpret and evaluate system and network requirements. Knowledge of computer hardware and software as it related to LAN/WAN.
(Desired)
- Nice Have:
· 2 years developer experience in one or more of the following languages or applications. Java, Visual Basic, Microsoft PowerApps and etc. Some experience with databases structure like SQL, Oracle and DataLake is a plus.
