The creativity, innovation, and passion our teams of people around the globe bring every day have made New Era what it is today.Apply to join New Era's team!The Assistant Manager, Licensed Products (Golf) is responsible for the day-to-day coordination in support of the New Era Golf Category business and marketing initiatives. They will manage and oversee operational needs for Golf brand partners and licensed tournaments (LIV Golf, PGA Tour, US Open, PGA Championship, Ryder Cup, TGL, etc.). They will additionally provide all customer relations needs for Green Grass customers.Responsibilities• Support the Golf category, by providing additional key account support for our license partners and brand partners• Manage in-bound sales and expand current portfolio by providing proofs, building ROAL specifications for key accounts invoices, processing orders with CSRs, managing calendars for orders placed, and acting as a liaison for these accounts to New Era• Lead Golf category marketing initiatives by processing invoices, following-up on payments, and helping to coordinate and track the overall category marketing budget• Coordinate the athlete seeding shipments and oversee athlete database for Category• Oversee deliverables to agencies, organize feedback and correspondence to/from agencies• Order product for golf marketing initiatives• Prepare presentations for internal and external meetings• Lead the planning and preparation for all special events/tournaments (LIV Golf, Ryder Cup, PGA Championship, Solheim Cup, etc.) as well as additional Category VIP events• Implement new sales strategies and methodologies based on research, data, success rates and market trends• Research golf headwear competitors’ lines and their marketing initiatives• Coordinate and work with legal team on legal approvals• Monitor and coordinate licensee (LIV, TGL, PGA, USGA, NCAA, MLB, NFL, etc.) approval process for all product and creative• Monitor current LIV League & TGL standings and stay current on industry news• Support with annual DCK Golf Tournament as necessary• Manage brand partner requests as needed• Keep all sensitive matters confidential• Other duties as assignedKnowledge, Skills And Abilities• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to make cold calls• Accuracy and deep attention to detail; highly organized• Strong teamwork and relationship-building skills• Demonstrated ability to manage projects and multitask• Meets deadlines in a fast-paced environment• Ability to work in a collaborative environment across organizational structures• Exceptional problem-solving skills• Conceptual, creative thinker-who can thrive in a fast-paced environment• Ability to be proactive and flexible in the face of change and last minute requirements• Ability to maintain a flexible schedule – evenings and weekends may be required• Ability to play Golf a bonus, but not necessaryEducation And Experience• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field highly preferred; additional relevant experience will be considered in lieu of a degree• Three (3) to five (5) years of marketing experience; sports or apparel preferred• Experience in SAP preferredTravel Requirement• 0% to 15%; domestic and/or globalNew Era Cap, LLC is an Affirmative Action and Equal Opportunity Employer that believes in inclusion and does not discriminate against any candidate or employee on the basis of race, color, sex, age, religion, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, veteran status, genetics, or any other basis protected by applicable local, state or federal laws.The salary range for this posted position is $60,000 - $70,000 (plus bonus & benefits) and pertains to candidates located in Western New York.
