Senior Analyst/Senior Engineer, Gas/Electric Coordination

The New York Independent System Operator (NYISO) is seeking a Senior Analyst/Senior Engineer for its Operations department to support fuel supply and inventory for real-time control room operations and planning.

Skills

Strong analytical skills
Knowledge of energy markets
Proficiency in EMS software
Experience with gas-electric coordination

Responsibilities

Provide fuel assurance expertise to the Energy Security team.
Participate in discussions with natural gas pipelines and markets.
Develop analytical tools for monitoring fuel capabilities and energy security.
Collaborate across teams on fuel and energy matters.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
Master’s degree in Power Systems preferred
