As the Director of Learning and Organisational Development (LOD), your mission will be to enhance our learning initiatives, solutions, tools, and practices so that they continue to empower our people, embrace our culture and lift our leadership capability to achieve our purpose and to drive our success forward.
You will also be responsible for:
- People Leadership: Inspire, guide, and develop your team to achieve excellence and meet NZTE’s needs. Actively contribute to strategy, KPIs, and decision-making as part of the People Leadership Team.
- Learning and Organisation Design: Implement initiatives on culture, leadership, capability development, and talent management. Oversee programmes like Kia Kaha and Leaders for Impact.
- Performance and Talent Management: Develop frameworks and tools for areas including performance management, talent and succession planning ensuring alignment with business needs.
- Collaboration and Inclusivity: Work closely with the People Advisory & Talent team to support initiatives that promote high performance, growth, and inclusivity globally.
What you'll need to be successful: Ō Pūkenga
You will be a seasoned leader with 10+ years in Learning and Organisational Development, where you have successfully designed, led and drove cultural evolution or transformation projects, ideally across an international organisation.
You will be a design and systems thinker, skilled at optimizing performance and engagement through gathering insights and information to tell a story that inspires action. You will also excel at prioritizing, focusing on critical tasks, and removing roadblocks.
You will also be committed to te Ao Māori, have a passion for inspiring and developing teams, and be able to influence at all levels.
