Sr Software Engineer (Back End)

Nexla is looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer to architect, develop, and deliver backend solutions for their data platform. The ideal candidate will have expertise in system architecture for cloud services and experience in building high throughput software systems.

Skills

7+ years of backend software development experience
Deep knowledge of JVM languages and systems
Familiarity with Kubernetes, Kafka, Caches, and databases
Proficiency in working with data formats and APIs
Ability to understand and connect customer needs with solutions

Responsibilities

Design and develop backend solutions using Java
Work on large scale data engineering problems
Participate in on-call rotation for support
Introduce new technologies to enhance Nexla's platform
Collaborate with cross-functional teams
Build monitoring tools for system optimization
