SWE-2 Dashboard UI

Sumo Logic is looking for a Mid-Level Frontend Engineer to join their dashboard team and contribute to their continuous intelligence platform portfolio.

Skills

Experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and Redux
Understanding of performance characteristics of common data structures
Desire to learn Scala
Experience in multi-threaded programming and distributed systems
Experience in big data and/or 24x7 commercial service
Agile software development experience

Responsibilities

Building a rich user interface for their high-availability analytics platform using React and TypeScript
Participating in user experience design and architecture initiatives
Instrumenting and measuring UI performance to provide best-in-class experience for customers
Collaborating with feature and component teams to ensure adherence to UI architectural standards and best practices
Evaluating, testing, and providing technology and design recommendations
Writing detailed design documents and documentation on system design and implementation
Promoting cross-team awareness to optimize code-sharing

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related discipline
