The Sales Training Manager is a key contributor for enhancing the performance and effectiveness of Nextech’s sales teams. This role involves designing and delivering comprehensive training programs, identifying and addressing skills gaps and developing strategies to overcome real-world challenges faced by sales professionals. By creating impactful learning experiences and fostering a culture of continuous improvement, the Sales Training Manager ensures our teams are equipped with the knowledge and tools needed to consistently exceed goals and drive organizational success.

Essential Functions
  • Conduct comprehensive skills gap analysis to identify performance improvement opportunities within the sales team.
  • Audit and evaluate recorded calls and email interactions using standardized scoring criteria, monitor trends and provide actionable insights to improve performance.
  • Collaborate with LMS Administrator to maintain an up-to-date sales training curriculum.
  • Leverage expertise in Salesforce and Aviso to assist the sales team in adopting best practices, optimizing usage and staying current with new features and functionalities.
  • Partner with subject matter experts (SMEs) and internal instructional designers to create engaging learning solutions tailored to sales training needs.
  • Develop and manage a holistic, end-to-end sales training strategy to support ongoing team development and goal achievement.
  • Design and deliver customized learning paths for various sales roles within the organization, ensuring alignment with partner needs and sales objectives.
  • Implement and manage training content, tools and assessment methodologies to facilitate knowledge transfer and continuous skill enhancement.
  • Deliver engaging and effective training sessions for diverse audiences, including inside sales, new sales hires and external partners.
  • Plan, coordinate and execute sales onboarding in collaboration with relevant departments to ensure successful integration and ramp-up.
  • Foster collaboration and demonstrate adaptability, excelling in both team-based and self-directed environments


Minimum Requirements
  • Demonstrated experience as a Sales Trainer, specifically training SaaS software sales representatives.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce, including knowledge of its functionalities and best practices.
  • Expertise in developing and modifying sales training curricula to address evolving needs.
  • Proven ability to manage the complete training lifecycle, encompassing in-person sessions and web-based learning.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences and deliver impactful 


Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in sales or sales management, providing valuable insights into team leadership and performance enhancement.
  • Practical experience with e-learning platforms, particularly Articulate Storyline, for creating interactive and engaging training content.
  • Additional certifications in Solution Selling or another consultative sales training methodology, demonstrating advanced knowledge and expertise in the field.


Working Environments/Physical Demand
  • Nextech operates as a remote work organization
  • Activities require a significant amount of work in front of a computer monitor
  • Long-distance or air travel as needed – not to exceed 5% travel
