TITLE: Deaf/Hard of Hearing Instructor
QUALIFICATIONS:
REPORTS TO: Special Education Director/District Superintendent
JOB GOAL: Coordinates and provides a program of services to Deaf/Hard of Hearing (D/HH) students. Provide in-services and direct consultation to District staff dealing with D/HH students. Assist in child find and identification of services. Provides case management and direct services to students as necessary.

We’re looking for someone who holds a Wyoming teaching certification for Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing and possesses the necessary professional qualifications in special education with a focus on deaf education. Fluency in sign language is essential! As a Deaf and Hard of Hearing Instructor at Wyoming Indian Schools, you will have the opportunity to create impactful educational plans and provide both direct instruction and support to students, while also offering consultation and strategies to other educators and parents. Your role will include participating in IEP and MDT meetings, helping identify services for students, and initiating new program offerings that will foster inclusion and communication.
