About the role:

We are looking for a Business Operations Manager who will influence a variety of initiatives alongside a world class team that is growing a modern commercial insurance product from the ground up.

Reporting directly to the Business Operations Lead, you will partner with Go-to-Market teams including Product, Marketing, Business Development and Underwriting to drive strategy and create efficient processes.

You will play a critical role in creating the frameworks that enable Nirvana to scale successfully. Each week will bring a new set of projects and challenges, where success is measured by data driven outcomes, and where you will have real ownership of business results.

What you’ll do:

Strategy: Identify, triage, and drive the strategic thinking on key revenue questions, issues, and roadblocks facing the company using your business acumen.
Analysis & Insights: Conduct quantitative research and analysis that results in compelling takeaways and recommendations for our leadership team.
Impact & Execution: Collaborate on critical operational excellence projects, turning your strategic recommendations into reality.
Planning / Business Health Reporting: help develop and track critical operating metrics associated with each major project for the Executive team and communicate actionable insights to relevant stakeholders.
Since we’re still in scrappy startup mode, there’s a lot of rolling up your sleeves and getting into the weeds to drive direct impact on a daily basis. We knock out today’s problems while balancing our need to build for the long-term.

About you:

3+ years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, or revenue operations.
Strong analytical, problem solving and interpersonal skills.
Comfort working in a high growth, ambiguous environment.
Critical thinker who isn’t afraid to provocateur and make decisions.
Diplomacy, tact, and poise under pressure when working through issues.
Bias-to-action - you’re not afraid to get your hands dirty & stretch yourself.
Owner mentality - take accountability for your actions & results.
