RE: JOB OPENING: N.O. Cookie Leader
We are currently recruiting for the position of N.O. Cookie Leader.
Hours: 10:15pm – 7:00am
(Hours may vary with production schedule. Flexibility to work alternate schedules is required. Availability for overtime and weekend work is essential)
Position Summary: This position, which reports to the N.O. Cookie Supervisor, leads and coordinates production activities and rotation assignments on the Cookie lines. The incumbent supports the Cookie Operation by ensuring that finished product conforms to Company specifications and quality standards and is packaged under safe, sanitary conditions. Additional duties include serving as a Substitute Packaging and/or Processing Supervisor on an “as needed” basis and learning to perform the scheduling function.
Job Duties:
  • Assist in training new associates and coaching existing associates
  • Perform production start-up and continuous monitoring of the line operation.
  • Assign line workers to their position on the line and provide instructions as required.
  • Monitor component requirements and deliver materials to line as needed.
  • End of shift reporting and identifying and following up on any action items that will improve efficiency, quality or safety.
  • Rotate line workers into different positions as needed to maintain job skills.
  • Ensure team and individuals are performing their job functions efficiently and effectively.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Cookie Supervisor.
  • Qualifications: Candidates for the position must possess a minimum of one year of previous Leader experience in a manufacturing setting. The successful candidate will need to show they can drive improvement in an operation; a history of identifying issues and taking action to avoid recurrence is preferred. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, as well as problem solving ability, are required. Demonstrated leadership that exemplifies the Campbell’s Values and Behaviors: Do Right and Be Real, Seek the Power of Different, Dare to Disrupt, Own it Like a Founder. Computer proficiency and basic mechanical aptitude are desired.

Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation.
