About The Team:

The Robotics Team at Noah Medical is dedicated to the development and implementation of safe and high quality controls software and algorithms. Comprising seasoned engineers with backgrounds in healthcare, we collaborate with clinical, product, and hardware design teams to deliver user-centric solutions. Joining our robotics team means becoming a part of a dynamic and passionate group dedicated to making a significant impact on the future of healthcare through groundbreaking technology. We are looking for a highly motivated, curious, and independent-thinking individual who is eager to take ownership and to contribute to revolutionizing the world of medical robotics while helping make Noah a great place to work. 

A Day In The Life Of Our Robotics and Controls Engineering Intern:

  • Actively participate in the software development process for test systems and the product.
  • Perform de-risking tests for product software changes.
  • Process product data, analyze it, and draw conclusions.
  • Perform debugging and root cause analysis on complex test systems.
  • Perform system testing, data collection, parsing, and analysis for complex robotic systems.

About You:

  • Enrolled in B.S, M.S. or Ph.D. degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, a related Engineering specialty or any similar fields with an emphasis on robotics.
  • Passion to have hands-on experience in robot manipulator kinematics, dynamics, feedback control, sensors, actuators, and embedded systems.
  • Work collaboratively and efficiently in a fast-paced start-up with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work independently, and the determination to get through challenging problems.
  • Experience with designing robust experiments and data collection pipelines.
  • Experience with rapid prototyping algorithms in Python.
  • Prior experience with software development in C++ is nice to have.

Pay Transparency

The Pay Range for this position is listed. Consistent with applicable laws, an employee's pay within this range is based on a number of factors which include but are not limited to relevant education, skills, job-related knowledge, qualifications, work experience, credentials, and/or geographic location of the posted role. Noah Medical reserves the right to modify this range as needed based on candidate experience level and/or specialized skills. Please note that the aforementioned range is only one component of the position's total compensation package.

California Pay Range
$32$40 USD

Noah Medical may offer remote, hybrid, or onsite work arrangements within the state of California depending on the specific team and/or role where applicable.
