Senior Business Intelligence Engineer

Noom, Inc., seeks a Senior Business Intelligence Engineer in New York, NY, to solve complex technical problems that center around habits, behavior, and lifestyle.Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or related field and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or a related occupation: building and optimizing data artifacts (data models/ data pipelines) for non-technical users;creating new reporting dashboards and reporting datasets and automated report generation for clients; working with SQL and Python languages to optimize the overall data transformation pipeline; working with BI tools for creating dashboards and reports; utilizingETL tools to develop ETL jobs using ETL tools to import data from 3rd party APIs to the data warehouse; performing Data Modeling/Data architecture to collaborate on data remodeling/ data warehousing project to redesign existing tables into a dimensional model in the data warehouse; collaborating with Engineers on new feature changes and advising on any data logging and data model changes needed for reporting; training business stakeholders to use reporting dashboards for self-service analysis; and analyzing data and provisioning key data insights for clients during quarterly reviews. The US base salary range for this full-time position is between $168,854.00 and $225,918.00 per year. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting is based on Noom’s estimate as of the date of publication and reflects the minimum and maximum target for the position across all US locations. The actual placement of the candidate within the range is based on factors including but not limited to relevant experience, assessment of functional skills and behavioral competencies, scope, and location. This range is not inclusive of any discretionary bonus or equity package.
