And we’re on the hunt for a new Expert Practitioner, Project Managment.HOW WILL YOU MAKE CHANGE HAPPEN?The project will acquire and implement a comprehensive, integrate, statewide case management system to manage and deliver I/DD services efficiently and effectively by standardizing, centralizing, and automating case management activities.YOU WILL:• Facilitate the stakeholder meetings and work collaboratively with the administrative support to develop project-related support materials.• Generate reports, as required, for Executive Steering Committee meetings.• Work with the project coordinators to create project schedules in Microsoft Project, unless otherwise directed by ODDS Project team management.• Develop and maintain Project risk logs and present at steering committee meetings as required by the Project Director.• Coordinate with the Project Director to present the Systems RFP draft to the Executive Steering Committee for approval.• Work collaboratively with the ODDS project team to ensure all Project stakeholders are mindful of, and accountable for, alignment between and among the Project financial parameters, Project goals, Systems functionality, and implementation timeline.• Work with the ODDS Project team, the Project Director and the Business Analysts to identify requirements for the System modules and coordinate those requirements with the Working Steering Committee.• Coordinate with ODDS Project Team Manager to ensure accountability of Project activities and deliver frequent updates to ODHS program sponsors and steering committees.• Work collaboratively with the ODDS Projects Team Manager to keep stakeholders abreast of the Project developments via the web pages to be established.IDEALLY, WE’D LIKE:• Experience managing large and complex IT system modernization projects.• Experience managing vendors, including contract management, service coordination, deliverable validation/acceptance.• Experience managing projects using Agile SDLC methodologies, preferably Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe.• Experience working with large public sector organizations, preferably HHS (Health and Human Services).• Ability to work west coast (PST) hours, preferably located in Oregon, Washington, or Colorado.Desired Skills:• Project Management Skills: planning and scheduling, risk management, budget management, and SDLC methodologies (Agile, Hybrid, and Waterfall).• Technical Skills: understanding of IT infrastructure, data security and privacy, systems integration, and SDLC lifecycle.• Communication skills: stakeholder management, team leadership, conflict resolution, and client empathy.• HHS skills: understanding of human services programs, regulatory compliance, change management, and procurement as a function.• Analytical skills: Data analysis, problem solving, and critical thinking.TRANSFORMING CLIENTS.
