This role is responsible for weekly/biweekly payroll processing. The successful candidate will work well in a complicated, post-integration environment and have experience with multiple payroll cycles and/or batches.

YOU WILL:
  • Processing weekly, biweekly and bonus payrolls. Reviewing retro payments for accuracy.
  • Monitor exception reports to appropriately process time worked to ensure timely and accurate payment to employees. Review payroll data to ensure proper tax withholding.
  • Maintain SLAs for tickets/emails, ensuring all are resolved timely.
  • File and keep organized pay data reports and information, maintaining proper confidentiality controls. Assisted with quarterly and annual tax review.
  • Ability to analyze, research and resolve inquiries and variances related to payroll.
  • Facilitate ongoing compliance with federal and state tax and payroll laws.
  • Process on demand payment, manual payments as needed.
  • Supporting filing of quarterly tax amendments and addressing exceptions as required.
  • Assisted with payroll reporting requests and special projects.
IDEALLY, WE’D LIKE:

  • 3+ years of high-volume multi-state payroll processing experience.
  • Working knowledge of Workday Payroll preferred.
  • Experience working multi-state taxes.
  • Experience managing multiple payroll cycles preferred.
  • Microsoft Office with advanced Excel knowledge preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred / High School Diploma required.

  • Relationship Management – forms and maximizes relationships with business partners through effective and timely communication, responsiveness, knowledge share, and a solution-oriented approach.
  • Communication – provides clear messaging through emails, NH Weekly updates, power point presentations, etc. to inform and influence the business.
  • Cultural Awareness – demonstrates and utilizes an awareness of our culture and how data impacts, informs, and influences our culture.
