At Northrop Grumman, you'll have the resources, support, and team to do some of the best work of your career.Northrop Grumman is seeking a Quality Assurance Policy and Strategy Analyst.This position will be located at our Mission Systems Sector in Buffalo, NY.This position requires auditing all process areas of the organization to ensure compliance to requirements and meet specifications. The individual will mentor process owners to implement processes to support the Quality Management System, AS9100 rev D standard. The candidate will develop, maintain and ensure compliance with quality assurance programs, corporate, sector, and site policies, and processes.The candidate will be a project lead on specific efforts relating to Continuous Improvement and Corrective Actions of a technical nature. This will often require working closely with upper management to ensure the scope and direction of each effort is on schedule and meeting all requirements. The candidate must be able to work in a fast- paced, cross-functional results-oriented climate and quickly get to the root cause of nonconformities to provide technical solutions and effective corrective actions to a wide range of complex and difficult problems.The candidate must be adept at coaching and leading cross-functional teams throughout the organization to integrate process-engineering solutions into team action plans supporting organizational goals and objectives.The candidate must be a self-starter with a proven track record of multi-discipline team experience and possess outstanding analytical, presentation, communication and facilitation skills.Basic Qualifications Level 2:• Bachelor's Degree in STEM• 2+years relevant experience in quality, engineering or manufacturing. 0 years experience with Masters.• Process Auditing Experience• Strong written and verbal communications skills, ability to present to large groups• Experience in Root Cause Analysis and Correct Action Planning• Strong organizational skills• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products• US CitizenPreferred Qualifications:• Experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment• Detailed knowledge of ISO 9001, AS9100 and CMMI• Experience developing in Microsoft Sharepoint• Advanced MS Excel skills• Experience using TipQA• Strong Facilitation skills Lean / Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification to drive continuous improvement• Demonstrated ability to apply strong analytical skillsWhat We Can Offer You -Northrop Grumman provides a comprehensive benefits package and a work environment which encourages your growth and supports the mutual success of our people and our company. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.The application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
