Our employees are not only part of history, they're making history.Northrop Grumman Mission Systems has an opening for a Senior Principal Supply Chain Subcontracts Specialist (Band 4) on our fast-paced Emerging Capabilities Development (ECD) team! Full-Time telework or hybrid may be considered for this role out of out Linthicum, MD site.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:• Support quick-turn, highly complex DoD proposal efforts• Source and procure specialized services through complex subcontractors, as well as own all contractual management related to the subcontractors from proposal through closeout of the subcontract.• Coordinate and collaborate with key stakeholders such as legal, contracts, engineering, quality, supplier development, planning, operations, program and end-users.• Develop subcontract specifications, proof work statements, and terms and conditions for the procurement of specialized materials and services.• Prepare bid packages, analyze and evaluate proposals, negotiate subcontract provisions, selects or recommend subcontractors, write awards, and administer resulting subcontracts under tight timelines and with highly complex contractual requirements.• Maintain, negotiate and coordinate additions, deletions, or modifications to subcontracts.• Initiate, review, negotiate, and coordinate stakeholder approval for internal agreements such as Terms and Conditions, NDA’s, Teaming Agreements, Licensing Agreements, etc.• Manage performance of subcontracts, ensure compliance with all public law requirements as well as company (and business) policies and procedures including import/export regulations, IP requirements and FAR/DFARS clauses.• Employ sound business practices and assess supplier performance as part of follow-up activities.• Review and approve supplier payment, as needed.• Engage with GSC Planning and Program teams, as well as other functions, to improve and enhance GSC procedures, systems, processes, analytics, and tools for the Division and Sector, as needed.• Assist with daily leadership, training and professional development of fellow team members, including serving as Peer Reviewer and/or Senior Co-worker.Basic Qualifications:• Bachelor's degree and 10 years of experience in Global Supply Chain, Purchasing/Procurement, Operations, Business, or other related field; 8 years of experience with Masters degree• Proficiency with Microsoft Office• Extensive experience with FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulations) and DFARS regulations, as well as their interpretation and application to subcontracts.• Experience with complex Subcontracts, Procurement and/or Contracts• Experience with SAP or related business application software• Extensive experience with negotiating contracts and agreements (Terms and Conditions, NDAs, Teaming Agreements)• Strong independent work ethic and ability to work complex tasks under tight timelines• Interest and enjoyment in developing trainings and supporting the growth of others• Ability to obtain and maintain DoD clearance (US Citizenship)Preferred Qualifications:• Security clearance• Experience with Ariba SLP for onboarding new suppliersSalary Range: $99,900 - $149,900The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
