Role Summary:
As we grow our Finance Team, we're seeking a Senior Revenue Accountant to join us, reporting directly to our Assistant Controller. We seek someone with an unwavering work ethic and extraordinary attention to detail. At Notable, finance is more than just tracking numbers; we use financial insights to ask the right questions, make informed decisions, and work towards our ambitious goal of simplifying and optimizing healthcare for humanity.
In this pivotal role, you'll primarily focus on Revenue Accounting, with occasional involvement in General Ledger tasks. While GL experience is a plus, it’s not a requirement. You’ll be instrumental in driving change, enhancing processes, and scaling our operations. We're looking for a self-starter who enjoys taking on diverse challenges—no task is too small or too large.
What You’ll Do:
Own your workflows. We believe in hiring great people and removing any obstacles that get in their way.
Analyze and interpret complex contracts to determine appropriate revenue recognition treatment in accordance with ASC 606.
Support timely monthly financial close, including preparing journal entries and maintaining accurate balance sheet reconciliations for various areas such as deferred commissions, capitalized software, stock based compensation, etc.
Assist in audit preparation with supporting schedules and disclosures.
Partner with cross-functional teams including sales, legal, and delivery, to ensure accurate and timely revenue recognition.
Prepare accounting process narratives and document internal controls.
Prepare financial reporting and analyses by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.
What We’re Looking For:
You possess a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance.
You have 5+ years of relevant experience in Accounting and/or high-tech organizations (SaaS industry is a plus).
You have experience with ASC 606 and reviewing SaaS contracts.
You understand the accounting/operational flow of business transactions from Order to Cash and possess knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial reporting requirements.

You have excellent Microsoft Excel skills with strong attention to detail.
You’re highly motivated, with the ability to work independently, as well as contribute to the needs of the Accounting team.
