Senior Controller

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Controller to join our consulting team in Sacramento. In this role, you will provide strategic financial guidance to clients, manage accounting teams, and ensure seamless audit processes. Ideally, you have experience in the construction or non-profit sectors and are comfortable interacting with board members.Compensation: $75-$85 per hour based on experience.Work Schedule: Hybrid, based on client needs.Key Responsibilities• Oversee accounting teams and ensure adherence to accounting principles.• Manage audits to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement.• Perform financial analysis, prepare statements, and generate client reports.• Develop and implement strategies to optimize financial performance.• Provide guidance on budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.• Collaborate with teams and stakeholders to resolve financial issues.• Train and mentor junior staff on financial matters.• Participate in client meetings, offering insights and recommendations.Qualifications• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.• Proven experience as a Controller, preferably in consulting.• Experience in construction or non-profit sectors is a plus.• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial analysis, and budgeting.• Proficient in multiple ERP systems.• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.• Ability to oversee teams, multitask, and prioritize deadlines.• CPA or equivalent certification preferred.Join our team and leverage your expertise to drive financial success for our clients while advancing your career.#IND2
