As a Manufacturing and Test Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in supporting and developing the manufacture of our eProtein Discovery instrument. You will focus on process improvements, testing strategies, and quality assurance to ensure we deliver world-class products. This is a hands-on role that requires technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

As a Manufacturing & Test Engineer at Nuclera, you’ll be instrumental in the development and production of our groundbreaking eProtein Discovery™ platform. Based in Cambridge, UK, with significant operations in Boston, USA, our mission is to enhance human health by making proteins accessible to life science researchers globally. In this hands-on role, you’ll identify and remove bottlenecks in our production processes, ensuring they run smoothly and efficiently. You’ll conduct Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) for our innovative instruments, refining testing strategies as part of our ongoing commitment to quality. With over 5 years of experience in instrument manufacture or testing, you will not only champion our QA processes but also react swiftly to any non-conformances by driving corrective actions. Your problem-solving skills will be essential as you design and build test fixtures that support rigorous testing and validation. Collaboration is key at Nuclera, so you'll work closely with software teams and Product Development, ensuring a seamless transition from concept to manufacturing.
