The IT Support Specialist is responsible for providing technical assistance and support to internal users and clients regarding computer systems, hardware, and software. They offer prompt resolution to technical issues, maintain hardware and software inventory, and contribute to the overall efficiency of the organization's IT infrastructure. This role will be a hybrid role (3-4 days in-office per week) based in our Murray, Utah, headquarters.

Technical Support: Respond to user inquiries and troubleshoot issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware through Jira Service Desk.
Problem Resolution: Diagnose and resolve technical issues in person, email, or remote assistance.
Documentation: Maintain records of technical issues, solutions, and system configurations.
Hardware/Software Installation: Install and configure software applications, computer hardware, and peripherals.
Network Management: Assist in maintaining network connectivity, and performance for the Nursa HQ office in Murray, UT.
Software Access Control: Manage employees’ access to software, including setting up user accounts and permissions.
Security: Implement and monitor security measures to protect corporate IT systems and data.
Training and Guidance: Provide guidance and training to users on new technologies or software applications.
System Upgrades: Assist in upgrading systems, software, and hardware to ensure optimal performance.
Collaboration: Work closely with the IT team to resolve complex issues and contribute to IT projects.
Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks and updates on systems to ensure functionality.
Maintain software and hardware inventory for all IT assets across Nursa’s global workforce and track replacement / upgrade eligibility.
2-6 years of experience as an IT Support Specialist, Senior IT Support Associate, or similar role.
Proficiency in operating systems, software, and hardware troubleshooting.
Knowledge of networking protocols and systems.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Strong organizational and documentation skills.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Availability to help occasionally on evenings and weekends in case of emergency.
Familiarity and comfort with troubleshooting macOS.
Certification in relevant IT fields (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional) is a plus.
Can-do attitude and the scrappiness to work on a small but impactful team.
Familiarity with Ubiquiti Unifi.
