Summary:
Assists with patient / family education. Assists in planning and coordinating patient care
Demonstrates clinical skills to meet job requirements / hospital policy.

Formal Education Required:

• High school graduate or GED is preferred.
• Certified nurse assistant training is preferred.

Experience and Training Required:

• One year current clinical practice is required.
• Will receive orientation on nursing unit

• Must maintain confidentiality
• Must be thorough and accurate with legible documentation in the permanent record.
• Must follow policies, procedures, and protocols as written.
• Must be able to handle stressful situations with tact, diplomacy and responsibility.
• For nursing units that use telemetry: Ability to apply telemetry correctly
